Jasper Open & Safe to Visit
Jasper: Open & Safe to Visit
Although the Chetamon wildfire is ongoing, there is no risk to the community and we are happy to report that ATCO energy has successfully restored the town to stable grid power. We eagerly and safely welcome visitors back to Jaspe and the Mount Robson Inn.
GREAT NEWS! Thanks to the hardworking crews at ATCO, the Town of Jasper, Parks Canada, and the wildfire fighters, the Mount Robson Inn has been connected back to the power grid. That's right, the power infrastructure was rebuilt to restore power to Jasper on Thursday, September 15th.
We are very grateful to our staff and our community who banded together during this crisis. Jasper is one amazing place.
